Devon was always a fan of the Ruben tyre so he wanted his design to reference that tread pattern, but with changes to make it more street focused. Fly knew street riding destroys tyres so wanted it to be as tough as possible. They brought back the original sidewall protection line that was featured on Ruben's first tyre, but this time using a harder compound and tear resistant inner layer for extra durability and strength. All these features make for the toughest, most versatile tyre out there, all while being able to hold 120PSI.
Devon wanted the Fuego tyre to come in 2.30", which is a bit slimmer than the Ruben tyre and slimmer than the majority of others out there, but Devon felt that it works better and grabs less during grinds but, is still large enough to absorb large drops and impacts
